Our Services

Spray Foam

Closed Cell: Highest R-Value on the market. Gives you your air seal, vapor barrier, and added structural integrity… your best option for open cavity insulating in new construction, remodels, crawlspaces, rim joists, vaulted ceilings, and attic spaces.

Open Cell: R-Value of approximately 3.5 per inch. Does not give you a vapor barrier, but is a great product for a sound barrier.

Attics

Many attics are poorly sealed, under insulated, and poorly vented. Air sealing an attic can be done two ways! The best option is to remove any insulation and spray a vapor barrier/air seal on entire attic floor with closed cell foam. If this is not an option, a local air seal on all accessible attic penetrations can be done. Venting is also very important in keeping an attic moisture free. We like to achieve an R50 with cellulose or fiberglass in all attic spaces over the foam air seal.

At Evergreen Foam Insulation, we continually strive to use the best products available for our clients’ projects. While we specialize in “green” closed-cell spray foam insulation, we also offer a full range of insulation solutions. Expand each box below to learn more about our products and process.

CLOSED CELL SPRAY FOAM

Thanks to its 90% closed-cell content, polyurethane foam combines industry-leading air permeance ratings and a superior insulation R-value to make a significant contribution to achieving the mandates of the modern building.

  • Improves the energy economics of buildings
  • Controls air leakage
  • Improves indoor environmental quality and occupant comfort, health and safety
  • Improves structural strength and reduces condensation, moisture and mold problems
  • Conforms to any shape
OPEN CELL SPRAY FOAM

Open-cell spray foam is a low-density open-cell spray applied polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation. Applied as a liquid, this foam quickly expands to many times its original size, completely filling wal

l cavities. It easily flows in and around difficult-to-reach areas such as pipes and wiring, creating a seamless seal.

It can also be used to improve energy efficiency or to provide a barrier against unwanted sound.

Insulating with open cell spray foam has many benefits including:

  • Improved energy efficiency
  • Affordable option for superior insulation
  • Increased comfort
  • Excellent sound control
  • Healthy indoor air quality
  • Good adherence to walls (will not sag)
  • Environmentally-friendly product.
Cellulose/Fiberglass Insulation

Energy Conservation

  • Reduces fuel usage and utility bills for heating and air conditioning

Sustainable

  • Each bag contains the equivalent of over 30 recycled bottles, with a minimum of 60% post-consumer recycled glass content

Noise Reduction

  • Improves Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings by 4 to 10 points

Permanence

  • Non-combustible, non-corrosive
  • Will not rot, mildew, or deteriorate

Cellulose Insulation has a higher density, R-value and a superior application method than many other insulations. It provides superb energy savings along with a significant reduction in air infiltration, resulting in outstanding long-term value and return on investment. Cellulose Insulation is also made of up to 85% American recycled materials, making it one of the greenest insulations.

Cellulose Insulation meets and often exceeds tough fire standards providing increased safety and peace of mind. Many of the properties which result in fire resistance and a reduction in air infiltration also contribute to superior performance in abating airborne sound.
